Just a couple of weeks to go, before we welcome you in Amsterdam for the first ever edition of the European Affiliate Awards. Time for some practical information!
Venue
Proud as a peacock, that’s how we feel about the location of our event. The 15th, we will all be guests at the Westergas in Amsterdam, a legendary location that hosted events like The Next Web and many others. The European Affiliate Awards will be hosted in ‘De Wester’ (former Transformatorhuis), which stand in the middle of the Westergas terrain. This impressive industrial space, 700m2 and nearly 10 meters high, features a distinctive wooden roof structure and high windows. The perfect place for our first edition.
How to reach Westergas
Westergas is largely car-free, so you can’t access the location with your own car. However, you can park your car at the Q-park nearby. From there, the Westergas terrain is just a few minutes away. The best way to reach Westergas is by public transport. You can walk from Amsterdam Central station (+/- 2km), or you can take bus 21 from Central Station (stop at Van Hallstraat). You can also take tram 19 towards Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek.
Agenda
You can find the entire agenda in the Swapcard app, where you can also start networking with all of your industry peers. Over 250 professionals registered for the event, so it’s going to be a memorable first edition. We start at 16:00 with registrations and networking, after which the main event will start. In between part 1 and 2 of the award show, we will have dinner (and some more networking). Also, we will inspire you with a total of 3 panel sessions packed with experts to share their experience with you. Around half past 9 in the evening, we will wrap up the official program and start the party. The DJ will make sure the night ends with a big bang.
Dress code
We don’t really have a dress code for the 15th. Whatever makes you feel at home and yourself. However, if you’re looking for advice, you can never go wrong with ‘casual business’.
Allergies
If you have any allergies we need to know about, please let us know!
Any questions left? Please let us know! When you can’t make it, let us know as well.
Love to see you the 15th!
